Sill and support member corrosion repairs are becoming more common especially on UK spec cars and we have an in house welding engineer who completes all of the work from cutting out to panel fabrication and seam welding, as the work normally arises at MOT time we do a full weld and MOT service which is considerably more cost effective as it guarantees a pass and a safe solid car at the same time.

Replacing the turbo`s due to wear or damage is a job that many zed owners dread, but a simply a phone call to us and we can resolve the problem by removing the engine undertake the replacement of the turbo`s and replace the engine in two days.

This included`s reconditioned turbo units ( 360deg.. bearing X ray checked housings) water by pass to the plenum, an oil & filter change , water system flush & refill with antifreeze, power steering system fluid change, full electronic engine diagnostic set up.

The clutch service /replacement includes replacement of all three parts of the unit 1. Clutch cover 2. Clutch plate 3. Release bearing , the price also includes the cost of the rear crank seal which is changed as a matter of course.

( Flywheels are in some cases required, but only if the face is too badly damaged that it cannot be reclaimed (.Ł270:00 )

Although the cost includes the fitting of a genuine Nissan Clutch ( recommended) we can if requested fit unit`s with higher clamping rates and higher temperature friction material see the links page for our approved suppliers we use for theses parts, addition cost is dependant upon what upgrade requested.

Normally clutch replacement time is 3 to 4 hours but on some occasions the exhaust down pipe nuts/ bolts can shear and drilling and re-tapping can add extra time / cost to the work so we always like to have the car for the whole day.

Replacing the engine can often be the most effective method of returning a car back to the road when internal engine damage or wear has occurred, internal engine parts and the labour to replace theses parts can often snowball in to many thousands of pounds, we have set an all in price to help owners realise the best option for their money.

All replacement engines we fit have been sourced in the UK still in driveable breakers and come fully tested , compression and a full Diagnostic test is performed before the engine is removed from the donor car and before fitting into the recipient car is fully serviced with new plugs, filters,cambelt etc. set up and testing is all part of the price.

In most cases when booked in advance so a donor engine can be prepared we can undertake the work in two to three days, we do like to have the car for one week though so full testing can be done prior to collection.

Mmm...yes sad to say but the old rust worm has taken its toll on many 300`s now and there is now clear weak points in the body shell that suffer more than elsewhere.

But do not despair, we can repair the rear sill section and returns, the inner and outer double skin sections, rear quarters at the wheel arch rear section under the petrol flap,the section behind the rear bumper side sections, the front turret mounts and front wing attachment points.

Our dedicated enthusiast policy we like to be easy going with booking car`s into the workshop,so there are little or no restrictions that apply at Zedworld.

We have requests rather than rules and prefer to book cars in for for a whole week for larger jobs, and prior notice on certain work (timing belts etc)

helps us to give a better service to everyone, also fuel level in your vehicle needs to reflect the work been undertaken as road tests may be required.

MOTs have moved into direct information access, testing stations operate data linked machines which are used whilst the test is conducted, the car been tested has its identity information entered into the system at the beginning of the test and a search is done on the operators ( Siemens ) data base for matches, if no match is found the operator has to manually enter all the test information.

This new system can most cause problems with some imported cars if the information is not available, to aid with this if you are having an Mot done as part of the work you are booking your car in for and you car falls into the particular category it would help immensely if you can bring you vehicle documents with you ( V5) if we do not have the correct information our testing station may refuse to test.

WeI understand this may be cause some concern with us holding your vehicle documents but they will be securely stored and a receipt will be issued to you.

While you wait service is available on a wide range of jobs and Saturday is very popular for this so ring well ahead so as not to be disappointed.

We also provide a shuttle service to local shop`s or train station, overnight stays specially arranged with local establishments.
